Project Overview:

The Smart Attendance System is a multiplatform solution featuring the AttendeR Android app for student logins and attendance marking, complemented by a web-based application for secure storage and processing. Utilizing QR encoding technology, it offers an efficient and secure method for colleges to manage student attendance.

Problem Statement:

The current methods of recording and managing student attendance in colleges are often inefficient, prone to errors, and lack robust security measures. Traditional systems are vulnerable to manipulation, making it difficult to ensure the integrity of attendance records. There is a need for a secure, reliable, and streamlined solution that can accurately track and maintain student attendance while minimizing administrative burdens and preventing fraud.

Challenges:

  1. Security Concerns: Ensuring the integrity and security of attendance data against manipulation or unauthorized access is a significant challenge, especially when dealing with sensitive student information.
